veteran's widow needs help

Question:

My grandpa was a Vietnam Veteran and he passed away without a will.  His widow (my grandma) lives in a community property state of Texas. Do you know of any legal services/attorneys that deal with probate for this type of thing? She does qualify for spousal benefits from the VA my grandpa was 100% disabled Veteran. However, her income is significantly less after his unexpected passing. She is elderly and rarely drives and she is not sure, but thinks she has to go to probate court due to him not having a will and Texas being a community property state. Any information that you can provide would be greatly appreciated if you know anyone that works pro-bono or at reduced cost? She resides in Kingwood, Tx near Humble TX. Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

Jim's Reply:

You'll need to speak with a veterans law attorney who is experienced in probate in the great state of Texas. Please contact my friends in Dallas, Texas at  http://gloverluck.com/  and tell them I said hello.
