My parents were just denied VA pension although my father served 1959 - 1961, he never left the country. They are both in assisted living and we were told the VA would help compensate for the costs but I'm not sure what to do if he's been denied benefits? Are there benefits I didn't apply for or that I applied wrong? We really need financial help to keep them in the assisted living facility.
Not all veterans are eligible for benefits. You need to seek a free consult with a veterans law attorney to determine if there's anything that may be done. Any or all of these lawyers will be happy to evaluate your situation
