Recent bone spurs

First of all,  thank you for your service and for this site. You are obviously a blessing to Veterans everywhere.  I am currently rated as a combined 80 percent due to several service related knee conditions. Recently I have had bone spurs on my heel operated on and am about to undergo back surgery. I know these conditions are the result of walking and living with my knees in bad shape. Should I seek secondary ratings for those new conditions and if so how would you recommend doing so? If not I understand. Thank you again for any and all advice and for all you do.

You may file claims for any conditions you feel are service connected...even those that are secondary to existing conditions. Filing a secondary claim works exactly like any file the forms, make your statements and VA takes it from there
