Jim I am Viet Nam vet, I have had a 50% disability rating for prostate cancer (30% for depression and 20% for incontinence) since Dec 2005 until Dec 2018. I filed for disability in Dec 2018 and was granted 100% temp for recurrence of prostate cancer. My question is when I have treatment (I haven't started treatment yet) and my PSA declines, I know I will have a C&P exam. Will I be able to keep my original 50% disability that I have had since 2005 or will it be lost? Thank You

I can't predict what the final rating will be. The 100% rating for prostate cancer will fall after treatment and the circumstances of your recovery will dictate the final rating.
