Endoscopic sinus surgery before separation from the USAF

Question:

Hello Jim and Thank You in advance for your time. I separated from the Air Force in July of 1993. In Feb. of 1993,  I had endoscopic sinus surgery for chronic pan sinusitis and upon my out processing,  they told me that they could not find my medical records. Since my departure from the military, I have had a second surgery UPPP for Severe Obstructive Sleep Apnea. Now between my allergies, sinus headaches and my Severe Obstructive Sleep Apnea, I still have I was asked by a fellow veteran why I never received disability benefits for my chronic sinusitis. Is that even possible?

Jim's Reply:

Have you filed for benefits? It sounds as if you may have a claim. VA will find your records for you. Go for it.
