Military wife facing divorce

Question:

Hi. My husband and I are getting a divorce. I have been getting abused by my husband (emotionally) I have FAP case through the military. Now he doesn't want to help me at all. He won't help me to go back, or shipping my pets, or help me with financial. I have been working but I had to pay for our household, credit card, both of our car Insurance, groceries, etc. I have no saved money. He is treating me that he could get a divorce without my signature. I am also immigrant. I am just wondering, what is my options?  I highly appreciate for your assistance, and will look forward to hearing back from you soon.

Jim's Reply:

If you are getting divorced, the ultimate arbiter of all the topics you raise will be the judge or magistrate who hears the case. You seem to have a fairly complex situation so I have to recommend that you find an attorney who will represent your (and only your) best interests.
