My will may not be legal, how do I find cheap legal help to fix this?

Question

Jim, I am a Vietnam war vet and have been using the VA hospitals and other areas where ever we live. We've moved 1 year ago from Colorado to Tucson AZ. We've just now realized that our 2 year old will from Colorado might not be legal in AZ.  Lawyers are so expensive and on-line help is very confusing with no definite answers.  Can you help?

The best help I can offer is that you need to look for less expensive legal help in your new home area. It's true that the usual services like wills can be expensive and there's a reason for that...drafting a will can be one of the most complex things a lawyer will do. If not done perfectly, there may not be a second chance. Having said that, if you explore your new region you're likely to find a veterans clinic at a law school or legal clinics that might be held at a regional VA hospital. A great place to look for veteran-specific legal aid is here at Stateside Legal. Use the Veterans Legal Help Navigator http://statesidelegal.org/helpnavigate  and other resources to find local the help you need.
