Migraine and VA disability

Question:

Does one have to meet all criteria for increase from 30 to 50% for Migraines? I'm 76 and retired. Currently 30% for Headaches. Thanks.

Jim's Reply:

Migraine is rated at the 50% & 30% levels as follows: Migraines with very frequent completely prostrating and prolonged attacks productive of severe economic inadaptability will be rated at 50%,  and migraines with characteristic prostrating attacks occurring on an average once a month over last several months are rated at 30%. Yes, you would have to meet all the criteria for an increase.
