Husband denied VA for thyroid cancer

My husband served in the AF and is currently rated at 10%. We are appealing the denial he received for his Thyroid Cancer. We have believe it may be approved because the the burning oil fields he was near during most of his service. He has since had his thyroid removed but has been told he will never be cancer free and that we just need to watch and see where it hits next. Do you know how this will affect his rating?

No, I haven't a clue what you based an appeal on. You're in an extremely complex area of veterans law and you should be represented by an accredited veterans law attorney. If you don't have an attorney...VA does. Hundreds and hundreds of them. Lawyer up before it's too late -- click here.
