Ex says he isn't getting VA benefits

Question:

My ex is a veteran, was sent home early from deployment and sent straight to Fort Carson for treatment. He has decided that he isn’t going to file for (or he’s lying to the court about collecting) VA benefits. His first ex wife and I pay him over $1500 a month in child support because of this. I only bring home $2000 a month. What can I do?! I can’t afford to feed my baby girl.

Jim's Reply:

You have to go to court. That is the only legal option you have. The court will ask for his total income and if he fudges that, he's got big problems. There really isn't any other option if you want to get this straightened out. The court is the final arbiter of divorce disputes!
