Jim I am adding to my driveway. The city has stated no permit is required for driveways. The HOA is stating that they have to approve it. The CCRs state that structures have to be approved by the HOA, however according the Indiana build code driveways are not structures so I feel I don't need their approval. What do you think?
I think this proves that the reason I've never bought in an HOA development is valid. You need a property/real estate lawyer if you care to contest the HOA.
