I'm not sure that I've ever seen a divorce with few issues...divorce is always painful. In any case, assuming you're a veteran, you're also a civilian. When civilians divorce they can either hire a divorce lawyer to represent them or they can file for the divorce pro se...for themselves. You can speak to the clerk of court in your region and that person will tell you how to do a DIY divorce.
