Disabled vet since 1994

Question:

Hey Jim...I got question and it’s a good one. Let me start by saying I’m a Disabled Vet since 1994,  100% P/T...in 2016 I was diagnosed having Parkinson’s (Agent Orange related), didn’t know nothing about until it later....in 2017 I was diagnosed having Prostate Cancer (Agent Orange-related) and file a claim and awarded 100% temp. And in 2018 after being encouraged by a friend to file a claim for Parkinson’s and I did file Nov. 2018 and in March 2019 I was awarded percentages but 2 items was Deferred...in April of 2019 went to another C&P and was awarded some percentages in June 2019...so the VA said I don’t get a monetary award??  Basically that’s it in a nut shell...what do you think?

The description of what benefits you're receiving isn't entirely clear so the best answer I can offer is that some disabling conditions aren't compensated. You may have a service connection rated at 0% or a condition that is recognized but not service connected. If you aren't happy with the ratings or you have questions, you can speak with a veterans law attorney at no cost out of your pocket.
