Question:

I recently found out from my cardiologist that my EF is at 35% down from 45%. I'm already on 90% disability for peripheral neuropathy from AO. What can I do, just bring my cardiologists reports to the VA & file another claim? I am really in a bad way.

Jim's Reply:

If you aren't rated for Ischemic Heart Disease (IHD) I'd suggest that you should file for that benefit. In answer to your question...that's correct. You can file another claim...that's really the only option.
