Women Who Serve
The Stateside Legal staff has been talking to Women Who Serve and learning about their unique legal issues. This has inspired us to set up a whole new set of resources designed for you - our female servicemembers and veterans.
Please watch our short videos. First, a conversation among three veterans about why your service counts; you are not alone.
The conversation continues in our second short video, highlighting some services that may help you to get the support you have earned.
We also offer information about:
- Military Sexual Trauma and where to get help
- Unemployment Benefits for re-located spouses of service members
- Filing your VA Disability claim
We will be adding new online tools to address the issues of Women Who Serve over the coming months. Please check back.
Also, the general legal information we provide for all veterans applies to women: claiming disability benefits; divorce, child support and child custody; employment and unemployment benefits for returning veterans, and other popular legal topics.
If you cannot find the information you are looking for, or need a referral to a free trustworthy legal advocate or support person, please use our feedback form and we will let you know of any help resources in your area that we know about.
