At Stateside Legal we aim to provide the best one-stop-shop online resources for veterans.  Our most popular resource is a revised version of Jim Stickland's step-by-step Guide: How to File A VA Claim for Disability Compensation.  The Guide includes an introductory self-help video.   You can supplement this information by sending your questions to "Jim's Mailbag." Jim is an experienced veteran who has coached thousands of veterans through the claims process. He will send you thoughful, thorough answers to your questions.  You can also browse the Mailbag archive, to see if your question has already been answered. 

We try to cover the whole gamut of legal issues that affect veterans and their family members.  Other popular online tools and information we offer:
