Nehmer class claim depends on a claim having been filed and denied

Jim,

Do you know of any Nehmer Claims that have been paid retro using VA Hospital Records, with no prior claim being filed?

Reply:

No, I don't. The Nehmer class claim depends on a claim having been filed and denied. The existence of the conditions prior to the current times that are a part of the Nehmer class rules isn't enough as evidence.

Having said that, each possible Nehmer class claim is unique. The rules that are in effect for adjudication of these claims are complex. If a veteran or a surviving family member believes that the Nehmer class rules may apply, then they should proceed to make a formal claim to ensure that the case gets a proper review. You may want to review more information about all that here http://www.vawatchdogtoday.org/Nehmer.html and here http://www.vawatchdogtoday.org/How_To_File_A_Claim.html
