How to get dependent benefits for your spouse

I am a 100% p&t veteran. I married my caregiver recently. (On my letter the box is checked that says permanent and total) my question is, will the VA re-exam me just because I got married? I’m not afraid of an exam at all. I see my doctor every 3 months. We just extended to every 6 months.

Congratulations! We wish you and your spouse the best. That you've married shouldn't have any particular effect on your disability benefits...there shouldn't be any re-exam ordered. It'll be a year or so before your spouse is eligible for most dependents benefits. You can get more information about dependents eligibility here

Keeping an eye on the VA, because somebody has to.
