Jim,

I am going into the VA for a re-evaluation of my disability. I am wondering if they do a drug test with any of the physicals, and if testing positive for marijuana will effect or take away any of my benifits. Any help will be greatly apreciated.

Jim,

A quick question, concerning, DIC. If a veteran is Rated 100% for PTSD
eligible for DIC after 10 years??? It says totally disabling, if 100% PTSD is not totally disabling ,, well I just don’t know? I know this guy and he was a medic in 68 in Nam and he is IMHO totally disabled.
Thanks

Jim,

I trust this E-mail finds you & yours in the best of spirits and health. Well Jim I took your advice and mailed (via Certified Mail RRR)a letter of inquiry. The letter was signed for in the VARO on 3/4/11. To date...no response. How long should I realistically receive a response Jim? Please advise and please do have a very pleasant evening.

Jim,

I have been taking Plavix since my heart attack in 2006. All of my arteries were blocked at least 95%. I have 4 stents. My civilian heart doctor wants me to take Plavix.I do not have a VA heart doctor. I have a 70% VA rating due to diabetes and IHD caused by Agent Orange. Since I have a 70% rating, all of my meds are free.My Plavix is free too thru the VA. My wife is disabled too. Her meds cost here more than here monthly disability check. I just read on another one of your sites that the VA will no longer pay for Plavix.I can not afford to pay the $200.00 per month out of my pocket since my wife is disabled too. What is the VA doing? Thank you.
