Chronic Venous Insufficiency (CVI) and benefits

Question

I'm at 70% currently my disability is chronic venous insufficiency service  connect well I had a heart attack last week how do I apply and receive a temporary  100 % for three monthes or longer what do I have to do now.

Jim's Reply

Chronic Venous Insufficiency (CVI) is a condition of the veins in the legs, sometimes the arms. Having a heart attack isn't secondary or otherwise related to the CVI, they are different conditions. The VA doesn't provide temporary 100% recuperation ratings except for conditions that are service connected. Unless you're a Vietnam veteran or other vet with an agent orange presumptive IHD, I don't see any path to a temporary 100% rating.
